We are proud to say that The Audio Guys are now four years old – well, four years and two months to be exact.

Our fourth full year was our busiest ever and saw us working on some really excellent titles. Our work on the Overlord series continued, with the release of Overlord II. Again, like the first game, it was a real joy to work on and turned out to be another entertaining and genuinely amusing game.

We also continued our linkup with Eutechnyx, providing all the sounds for Supercar Challenge, which received glowing praise for its engine audio.

Squeeballs Party was also released – a fun party minigame title with all manner of little critters to smash, hit, squash and generally abuse! TAG hired a raft of professional cartoon actors to provide the emotes, and also created all the sounds.

We were of course extremely proud and excited to begin working with Turn 10 Studios in Seattle on the 360 exclusive racing hit – Forza Motorsport 3. TAG worked on many of the hundreds of engine sounds in the game…a real epic task, but great to work with some really cool people and be part of the Forza team.

TAG are really happy to have had the opportunity to work on a number of Sega titles, so it was great to be able to provide all the sounds and VO for the remake of the arcade game Jambo Safari.

We provided some sounds for the new Formula One series of game F1 2009, and also created all the sounds for a few XBoxLive titles such as Plain Sight and Polar Panic. We also provided all the sounds and VO for Family Game Show.

Finally, another Sega game beckoned…and another really great title – Sonic & SEGA All Star Racing, a kart racing title featuring many of Sega’s most classic characters, including Sonic & Tails, Eggman, Amy, Alex Kidd, Ryo, Big the Cat and loads more. TAG provided all the sounds for the game.

Phew…a busy year! We are now a couple of months into our fifth year…and already working on some great titles, which we will announce as soon as we are allowed to!
